Last but not least we wanted to talk about Amazon Music, and then give some honorable mentions to a few other apps.

Amazon is like Google Music in the fact that it's an all-in-one solution. It plays your music, lets you buy from over 30 million tracks, uploads to the cloud, live streaming, lyrics and more. It's a decent little music player too, and will be great for anyone that has Amazon Prime. And really, don't we all these days? It may not have all the advanced controls that some of the others do, but it's still a pretty capable app if all you need is tons of music and cloud services.

If none of these are what you're after, check out Rocket Music Player, Neutron Music, BoomCap or even N7Player. Musicolet and Phonograph are worth a quick look. And near the end of 2018 I started using Stellio Player.

To be honest, Rocket Music Player could have easily made this list, as should AnyPlayer and a few others. Hey, there's even a WinAmp application that's getting a much-needed overhaul in 2019

Jukebox Music Player. Been using for a couple weeks. Does exactly what I need. Has themes and gets lyrics from the web. I think it’s fairly new but it has a new update with new stuff in it every other day it seems.

Power amp needs to be removed from the top. It just keeps crashing. Except for sound quality the app is not stable. Pulsar, Jet audio, Rocket player, Joymix are missing. After updates, players are sometimes worse off.

Don’t install Poweramp if you’re running Android 8.1. some of the features will not work, and the developer is not fixing them until his new version is finished.

I very much like PlayerPro music player. It’s been around for quite some time, has regular updates by the dev team, which enables it to keep up with the latest Android features: Chromecast, android AUTO, Oreo notificatoins etc. The other players clearly don’t have that many features and are quite out dated.

Yeah! An article with the stuff in it! Cool. Can’t believe you didn’t list a sound processing music or singing app.
