Google Play Music shouldn't need any introduction, but if you've been stuck using something else we recommend giving it a try. It has improved by leaps and bounds over the past few years and has tons of music to buy and try on top of your own collection. Not to mention family sharing plans for unlimited streaming and so much more. While Google Play Music may not be for the audiophile like PowerAmp is, it's still a great option. From being able to buy millions of songs to the deep integration built right into all Android devices. However, the biggest thing for me is the cloud storage (which is free) allowing me to instantly stream any of my more than 7,000 songs on any device anywhere. If you need local playback, this is a great option too. Google Play Music has a music manager that will transfer entire music collections, iTunes, playlists, podcasts and more to your device, or to the Google Cloud. Then it can be accessed on your device or streamed from the cloud. No other service offers this much cloud storage for free. In fact, you can upload nearly 50,000 songs to the cloud and enjoy them forever. The interface is decent and the lockscreen artwork and controls are by far my favorite. What it lacks in features it makes up everywhere else. It's a Google app, so you know it will be more than enough for most. Paying for this also gets you access to YouTube Music, which is the future of Google's music aspirations. | |||||||||||
