Kirby Star Allies is the first platforming title in the Kirby franchise to come to the Nintendo Switch, and that has gamers very excited. Star Allies takes its name from its best new mechanic. The fluffy pink hero uses hearts to convince other in-game characters to help him in his quest. The game itself manages these companions in single-player, but you can switch to multiplayer and hand them over to a friend or family member to control too. In addition to providing much-needed backup, Kirby’s can combine his powers with his companion's powers to unlock special abilities not seen in other games.
