10 Best OnePlus 5T Screen Protectors

In this buying guide we’ll explain why you need a OnePlus 5T screen protector and recommend a list of the best screen protectors available. A good glass protector can keep your screen looking new and scratch-free.

With a big 6-inch OLED display on the OnePlus 5T, a screen protector is highly recommended. The phone is durable, but it’s far from scratch proof. These will protect it from life’s daily hazards and offer full-screen protection.

There are a few different OnePlus 5T screen protector styles to choose from. Some are cheap films, while others are expensive reinforced glass. We’ve found some as low as $5 and many around $8, which is far cheaper than spending $200 to replace a broken or damaged display. You’ll need to spend around $20 for the best protection right from OnePlus themselves.

The cheapest screen protection is a film. This is a thin layer of durable military-grade material that’s scratch resistant and typically cost around $7-8. Even one of these is better than nothing, especially if you don’t plan on using a case. Films often peel off or discolor over time. They’ll keep the screen safe, but we still recommend glass protectors first. Glass is just better overall, but if you’re on a budget the film will work great.

Next, more expensive protectors use a chemically hardened and strengthened glass like what’s already on your device. This tempered glass is extremely scratch and shatter-resistant. If it does break, the phone is often safe underneath, meaning your screen is fine. They come in a few styles, including full-screen coverage with color-matched bezels. Others simply cover the screen and not the entire front of the phone.

Even if you buy a case, a screen protector is a very good idea. A case won’t protect your phone from keys in a pocket and purse, or from daily wear and tear. If you do drop your OnePlus 5T, often times the screen protector breaks before the display. Any protection is better than none. With that said, these are the best OnePlus 5T screen protectors from brands we know, use and trust. Buy one today and keep your screen safe.

Official OnePlus 5T Tempered Glass

First on our list is the official tempered glass screen protector from OnePlus themselves. This glass is cut with precision to perfectly fit your new phone. It offers edge-to-edge protection, color-matched bezels, and it's as tough as nails.

If you don't like using a screen protector because it's visible on the front of your device, this is a good option. It covers the entire front of the phone, not just the screen.

OnePlus is using a strong 99.9% clarity glass that scores a 9H on the hardness scale, so it's highly durable and scratch-resistant. There are cutouts for the camera, sensors, and speaker on the front, but everything else is 100% protected. It's more expensive than most on our list, as it's an official accessory.

The TGP which I bought covered the edges of the screen and spoiled the experience. So I went with the Gadgetshieldz Screen Protector. Now I feel this is being the best. Because it gives the grip as well as the protection to the device.

I have the Jyline screen protector on my 5T..l also have a case on it..by ringke..But they are still a little smaller then the screen even with the case on ..also they have a rainbow effect going on …Just on the sides of the protector..Still its aggravating. Also They are fingerprint magnets after a couple times of cleaning..But they do protect your phone..and the price is really good..I just purchased the official OP5T..screen protector..Hopefully I’ll be able to still use my case..But if not l still got 2..Jylines left.
