The Moto Z2 Force Edition is a great Android smartphone from Motorola that is getting Android 8.0 Oreo this year and that comes with Moto ShatterShield protection. The display and the lens are warrantied against cracks and breakage for four years from your date of purchase. The phone isn't going to stand up to every drop, but when I tested the original version of this protection I came away impressed with how hard it was to do any damage to the phone. You get dual cameras and you get access to Moto Mods that can expand the range of things you can do with your phone. There are battery packs, optical camera upgrades, speakers, a projector and more. The Moto Z2 Force Edition is available at Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile for $375 to $750 and for monthly payments. It's one of the best budget rugged phones when you can find it at $375. | |||||

Kyocera specializes in rugged phones, so why isn’t there any Kyocera phones in there? If the phones need a LifeProof case, then they should be excluded. A Brigadier is still more rugged than those LifeProof cased phones (since a case doesn’t help with Polar Vortex cold, damaging the battery)
