The FitBit Blaze combines some of the smart watch features that users are looking for with a dedicated fitness experience in an attractive looking package.
Fitbit's Blaze tracks your heart rate more often than the Apple Watch and it also tracks steps, sleep, calories burned and other activities including 15 specific types of exercise. The device can automatically start tracking your exercise when you start going, without the need to choose a workout and tell it to start and stop tracking you.
Fitbit promises 5-day battery life, which means less charging than a traditional smartwatch, but you still have alerts for texts, calls and events on your calendar. The device also lets you control music playback and pair with your phone for GPS tracking of workouts.
Fitbit just added a collection of new features and social motivations to the Fitbit app and a new Fitbit Charge update is coming soon.
