One of the big changes this year is the new Active Touch System. This is an upgrade to the first touch you make on the ball, and it's arguably the most important touch of any run.
With the changes, you will be able to change how you trap and strike the bball for better overall control. Some new options include the disguised touch, flick up volleys and in some cases the Neymar Trap. This will help you get better control and change the dynamic to set up a good run. On the other end of the field, there is a new Timed Finishing system. This allows you to better control how you strike the ball towards the goal, and it can make the difference between a goal and a miss. You can double tap the shoot button when attempting a shot on goal. The timing of the second tap controls the accuracy and power. If you time it just right you're more likely to score. This works for long shots, shots in the mixer and headers.
