The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release has been confirmed not once, but twice by Samsung in recent days as the company gears up for the Galaxy Note 4 launch date and the iPhone 6 release that’s expected to take place just a few short days after the arrival of the new Galaxy Note.

Earlier this month, Samsung announced that it would be hosting an Unpacked Episode 2 event on September 3rd. The company did not say what it would be announcing at the show but the date falls in line with Galaxy Note 4 launch date rumors that pointed to that very date. Samsung’s invitations all but confirmed the Galaxy Note 4 release but up until recently, the company remained tight lipped about its announcement.

Last week, Samsung released a teaser for its September 3rd launch event. The teaser focused in on the Galaxy Note series and more specifically, on note taking and the S Pen. The spot, which was posted to the company’s Samsung Mobile YouTube page, can seen in full in the video below.

Thanks to these new teaser videos, we now know that Samsung plans a future Galaxy Note 4 release. We also know now that its S Pen could be a major focus during the September 3rd launch event. We still haven’t heard much about the Galaxy Note 4’s S Pen or its software but we probably only have a few short days to go before we learn all about it.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 launch date will take place in Berlin, Germany with satellite events set for Beijing, China and New York City. The company will provide a live stream for consumers who are not invited to the company’s three separate events.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 spec list isn’t confirmed but we have heard a ton about the Galaxy Note 4 and its specs in recent weeks as Samsung works to deliver a fantastic Galaxy Note 4 successor and a device capable of taking on the new iPhone release currently dubbed iPhone 6.

Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to have a 5.7-inch QHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, a new 16MP camera with OIS, Android 4.4 KitKat, and a design that could combine both metal and plastic like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Alpha. It’s also expected to incorporate a fingerprint sensor into the home button.

Galaxy Note 4 release date rumors have continued to point to a quick arrival in an effort to take on the iPhone 6. Rumors have singled out the week of September 15th as a possible release window for the Galaxy Note 4 though that remains unconfirmed. By comparison, last year’s Galaxy Note 3 launched September 4th and was released on September 25th.

Samsung is clearly focused in on battling the iPhone 6, Apple’s new flagship. The iPhone 6 is expected to feature two larger display sizes and a release date in September. September 19th has been pegged as a probable release date through that date, like the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date, remains unconfirmed at this point.
