More Horsepower

If you're looking for some more horsepower, you're going to get it from the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 it seems.

According to latest reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will feature 4GB of LP-DDR4 RAM in addition to a brand new Exynos 7 chip. If this is true, the Galaxy Note 5 will be the first Galaxy Note to feature a 4GB of RAM.

Samsung will reportedly use a brand new CPU dubbed Exynos 7422 SoC. The CPU is expected to be an all-in-one which means that it will feature CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and LTE. It's expected to be extremely efficient and help in areas like graphics and battery life.

There are no benchmarks to speak of but we'd bet the house on the Galaxy Note 5 absolutely blowing away a flagship from 2013.

There's also chatter about a 4,000 mAh battery. This is a massive battery, especially for a phone that's 7.9mm thin. The rumor does make sense though. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5's not expected to have a removable battery so it needs a huge battery to deliver excellent battery life.
