Galaxy Note 9 Release Date & Price

If you have the Galaxy S8+ this is a tough choice. There isn't a lot that makes it worth the upgrade, except for maybe the camera and battery. You can, however, trade in that S8+ and get $450 towards the Note 9 on Samsung.com.

For anyone debating these two that has an older phone or just wants a new device, the choice is clear. Get the Galaxy Note 9.

So, when can you get one and how much will it cost? Those are two very important questions.

The Galaxy Note 9 is available for pre-order at the time of writing this post and will hit shelves and retail stores on August 24th.

The 128GB Galaxy Note 9 is $999, which is a pretty hefty sum. As a comparison, the Galaxy Note 8 arrived around the same time in 2018, and it was only $929. You are getting double the storage, a bigger screen, a large battery and more, so it makes sense. You can get the 512GB Note 9 for $1,249.

As for the Galaxy S8+, we see it for under $600 all the time on sale or with lucrative deals. And if you don't need the huge screen consider the dual camera Galaxy S9+ instead, and save a few hundred bucks.

It's a hard choice either way. At the end of the day, the Note 9 is Samsung's biggest and best phone. You must decide if that's worth $1,000.
