Galaxy S10+ vs Galaxy S10 5G: Specs

Of course, these are two very similar phones overall, with one having a few advantages. Just like all S10 models, they have some of the same internals, camera sensors, and features. That said, there are some VERY notable differences that make the 5G the better of the two.

  • Android 9 Pie with Samsung One UI
  • Triple Rear Cameras: 12, 12, 16MP (Regular variable aperture, telephoto, and super wide-angle) Main 12MP Dual Pixel will still have OIS, 960 FPS slo-mo, and more

Galaxy S10 5G Specs

  • In-Display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner
  • IP68 dust & water resistance (5ft for 30 minutes)
  • 4,500 mAh battery with Faster 25W wired charging, wireless charging, and reverse powershare
  • Always-On Display, 3D Emoji (like animoji)
  • Samsung Pay, Bixby Virtual Assistant, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, more

While 5G is the big selling point, which delivers faster internet speeds for anything and everything you do on the phone, we've highlighted everything else that's different or better on this version of Samsung's new phone.

Basically, buying the 5G model gets you a phone with a bigger battery, seven cameras, a better selfie camera, a massive 4,500 mAh battery (12% bigger than the S10+) and Samsung's all-new faster wired charging. Yes, the Galaxy S10 5G uses 25w Power Delivery to recharge that huge battery faster than usual. All other S10 models only recharge with 15w of juice using the old Quick Charge 2.0 standard.

Don't get me wrong, the regular Galaxy S10+ is still an absolute powerhouse and the best phone you could buy.... until the 5G model arrived.
