Galaxy Tab Pie Update: 6 Reasons to Get Excited & 3 Not To

No Beta Could Mean More Problems

At this point, with the Galaxy Tab S4 update imminent, we aren't expecting a Galaxy Tab Android Pie beta. That's a bit disappointing given that Samsung expanded its beta program to older models and mid-range devices. It also means we could see some major bugs. 

The Galaxy Tab A Android Pie update will fix lingering Android Oreo problems, but it will bring problems of its own. 

Major updates like Android Pie typically bring the worst issues and a lot of you will run into trouble after transitioning from Oreo to Pie. 

Samsung's already had to halt the Android Pie roll out due to unforeseen issues so don't be surprised if you hear about a widespread issue or two after the Galaxy Tab roll out starts up.
