Get Familiar with Older iOS Updates If You Need To

If you aren't running iOS 11.2.6 on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch right now you'll want to get familiar with the update, or updates, you skipped before you install iOS 11.3 on your phone, tablet, or iPod. 

iOS 11.2.6 is the current version of iOS 11. If you're running it on your device you're up to date with the latest features, fixes, enhancements, and patches. If you aren't now is a great time to get familiar with iOS 11.2.6 and any other updates you've skipped along the way. 

If you're planning to upgrade from iOS 11.2.5 or an older version of iOS to iOS 11.3, your iOS 11.3 update will be more substantial thanks to the features and fixes from updates you skipped. They'll be baked into your iOS 11.3 upgrade. 

Some iOS 11 updates are minor, iOS 11.2.6 for example, but others, like iOS 11.2 for example, are much bigger.

Do yourself a favor and get familiar with the changes from these updates right now. To assist you, we've put together a guide that will take you through all of iOS 11's biggest changes. 

Most of you should think about upgrading to iOS 11.2.6 before the iOS 11.3 update arrives. We'll explain why in the next slide.

    Let’s hope this time Apple forgets about “new features” and just works on stability and performance….would be about bloody time.
