Business Chat to iMessage

Do you find yourself spending an unnecessary amount of time tracking down customer support numbers or live support chat lines at big companies? Then you might just love this new Business Chat feature coming in iOS 11.3.

Instead of navigating a confusing website, you'll now be able to ping customer support from within Apple's Messages app. Here's how Apple describes it:

"With Business Chat, it's easy to have a conversation with a service representative, schedule an appointment or make purchases using Apple Pay in the Messages app. Business Chat doesn't share the user's contact information with businesses and gives users the ability to stop chatting at any time."

A similar feature is already live via Facebook Messenger so it's exciting to see Apple bringing it to iPhone and iPad.

Business Chat will be in beta when iOS 11.3 arrives and it'll only be available for a few companies including Hilton, Discover and Wells Fargo, but we expect it to expand in the weeks ahead.
