Expect watchOS 5 at the Same Time

If you own an Apple Watch you'll want to keep your eyes out for the watchOS 5 update on the same day iOS 12 is released. 

In addition to testing iOS 12, Apple's been testing its next operating system for the Apple Watch. The company is currently on its final watchOS 5 beta, the GM. 

Last year, Apple released watchOS 4 on September 19th, the same day as iOS 11, and you can expect the same from Apple this year. The watchOS 5 release date is also confirmed for September 17th.

The new Apple Watch update includes Activity Competitions, Auto Workout Detection, brand new Workouts, new Running features, and a Walkie-Talkie function.
