Published

on

The iOS 9.2.1 release for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch is confirmed and today we want to walk you through the most important things to know about the iOS 9.2.1 update, its release date, the beta, and the iOS 9.3 update that’s on the way.

Last year, Apple rolled out its iOS 9.2 update. The upgrade is the second milestone release for the iOS 9 operating system and it brings new features (NumberSync, Arabic support for Siri), a ton of fixes, enhancements, and important security patches.

The dust around the iOS 9.2 release is still pretty new but that didn’t stop Apple from confirming its successor.

Update: iOS 9.2.1 is here. Here’s how to prepare.

iPhone 6s Plus iOS 9.2 Update - 2

In December, Apple confirmed an iOS 9.2.1 update. Unlike iOS 9.2, the iOS 9.2.1 update isn’t out for everyone just yet. It’s only available for developers and those in Apple’s public Beta Software Program. If you have an Apple ID, you can try out the iOS 9.2.1 update right now.

Now that the iOS 9.2.1 update is out in the open, we want to shine the spotlight on it and tell you about the most important things you need to know, right now, about the iOS 9.2.1 update for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

This roundup touches on the iOS 9.2.1 beta, iOS 9.2.1 features, what we know right now about the iOS 9.2.1 release, and more.

iOS 9.2.1 Performance: Early Impressions

iOS 9.2.1 Performance: Early Impressions

As we push away from the iOS 9.2.1 beta release, we're starting to see testers post early iOS 9.2.1 feedback for various versions of the iPhone and iPad. While it's early, it's still important to dig into the feedback to get a read on potential issues, and benefits, of your iOS 9.2.1 update.

For older devices like the iPhone 5s, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, results seem to be mixed. Testers have noticed some improvements to speed on Apple's iPhone 5s and iPhone 5 while the iPhone 4s iOS 9.2.1 beta seems a bit slower.

Testers also continue to complain about Control Center lag, an issue that's been plaguing many older devices including our iPad mini 2

It's still early in the beta process and we could see these updates and others change. Make sure you keep an eye on feedback throughout the process so that you're ready for the official iOS 9.2.1 release when it arrives.

No ones iPhone hasn’t worked right since the iOS 9’s started they must be paying these monkeys at Apple Company just make new IOS’s that never work every two weeks which 99.99% the bugs are still there but they say they are fixed well come to my house I will show you my iPhone 5s which really sucks since iOS 9

I’ve seen a lot of people having issues because they’d upgraded several versions of the OS without ever doing a clean install. Try a clean install, my roommate has an iPhone 5 and after a clean install it was faster and worked perfect.

No people I don’t think you want to factory reseat or clean install for you will delete everything on your phone apps photos all your information it will be as if you bought the phone from the Apple Store of what phone service you got your iPhone from in other words you will erase everything on that iPhone when you plug it in to iTunes on your Desktop computer PC or Notebook

That’s why you backup first. ;)

I think that it is pretty cool I like the handles of it. But it takes a little bit of getting used to because of ios9.1 that had no half and half screen thing going on with it. But I like it a lot!

Sometimes I agree, sometimes I don’t, talking about this POS article, I truly believe that there are some people, even nowadays, that makes look human race, like downhill, fortunately, not everything is lost, just needs to keep looking, and try to understand why people write articles like this, like politicians, just talk and talk without any sense or meaning, just revealing to the world how stupid they can be, finally, we must learn that we need to decide if we want to loose our value time on this earth, reading pieces of shit, like this author is pouring through, I just want to say something:
GRAB A TISSUE AND CLEAN YOUR MOUTH, YOU ARE TALKING SHIT!

I’m turning in my iPhone at end of my contract .., or before if another phone company makes me an offer. I want simple and stable, not keep trying to figure out new updates ad nauseum. I can’t keep up with the onslaught that new technology is bringing to communication much less the hardware that’s bringing it. It makes me insane that I don’t know if info in my contacts changed because of me, the cloud, some new upgrade or a new moon! I’m done with the Apple machine.
