Yesterday, Apple released two brand new iOS 9 betas. The company has issued an iOS 9 beta 5 to developers. This, as you might imagine, is the fifth iOS 9 beta for developers. The update arrived two weeks and two days after iOS 9 beta 4 which means that Apple continues to stick with a tight release pattern for these beta updates. If the company follows protocol, it will probably release another iOS 9 beta in late August. If everything holds up, it could be the final developer beta ahead of the public iOS 9 release date in September. The company also released a new iOS 9 beta to the public. Those in the public Beta Software Program are now able to download the third version of the public beta. It's clear that Apple will continue to run these two betas side-by-side which means that we should see at least one more public beta before the iOS 9 release later this year. Those who are interested in trying the beta can sign up here. You'll want to be prepared though so take a look at our rundown of the iOS 9 beta before taking the plunge. | |||||||||||
