iPhone 6s vs. Galaxy Note 5: 5 Things We Learned in June

Last year, Apple finally made the jump to big screen sizes. So it should come as no surprise that the iPhone 6s will likely match the Galaxy Note series in 2015.

Respected KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and Bloomberg both believe that the iPhone 6s will come in two different sizes. A 4.7-inch iPhone 6s that will appeal to the masses and a larger iPhone 6s that features a 5.5-inch display like last year's model. The iPhone 6s Plus would be the Galaxy Note 5's biggest competition.

Samsung's Galaxy Note has always come with a large screen and if June rumors are accurate, the Galaxy Note 5 could have the biggest display yet.

Samsung is reportedly testing a 5.89-inch display size for the Galaxy Note 5. This is a little bit bigger than the Galaxy Note 4's 5.7-inch display. Rumors point to either a Quad HD display or an Ultra HD display, neither of which are rumored for the iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus. Apple's displays might have some perks of their own though.

Analysts and reporters think that the company's iPhone 6s will come with Apple's Force Touch technology. Force Touch on the Apple Watch lets you press down with more force on the display to activate a second series of commands.

iOS 9 reportedly supports Force Touch so there's a good chance we'll see this on board the next set of iPhone variants.
