The Galaxy S6 Edge doesn't feature a microSD card slot but it does come with three excellent storage sizes including 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. That's better than what the Apple iPhone 6 has to offer (16GB, 32GB, 128GB).
A report from the credible 9to5Mac shows an internal part that hints at a 16GB base model for the iPhone 6s though more recent rumors suggest that the device will arrive with a 32GB storage base. This new info apparently comes from inside iPhone manufacturer Foxconn.
A report from The Korea Times recently claimed that Apple was (and maybe still is) negotiating with Samsung to boost the internal storage of the iPhone though it's not clear if the deal will get done in time for release.
With Samsung shifting to a 32GB base, there's certainly incentive for Apple to do the same with the iPhone 6s. Keep those fingers crossed.
