The Lume Cube Air VC is a new kit designed to make your video conference calls stand out with better lighting and to super-charge your selfies in low light. It’s also a great way to look better on your Twitch stream.
This combines a Lume Cube Air with a small suction cup mount that you can use to mount the Lume Cube Air onto the back of your laptop, phone, tablet, monitor or almost any other surface. You can swivel the Lume Cube around to get the best lighting and it’s easy to install, remove and install on another device.
If you work at home and deal with typical poor lighting in a home office, find yourself always on video calls in hotels, want to stream on Twitch without lighting up the whole room or take better selfies at night this is a device for you.
The Lume Cube Air is a small 1.6” x 1.6” x 1.1” LED light that includes a magnet you can use to mount it to other surfaces. The LED lights are 5700k daylight balanced and you can set the Lume Cube at four different brightness options. The included Warm and White Diffuser help take the edge off of the brighter light to deliver a more flattering look on your next video conference.
You can use the app to control the brightness, light mode, strobe speed and check battery life over a Bluetooth connection to your phone, or simply press the button on the top to change the settings. It charges by Micro USB and can be used while charging.
We spent the last several weeks testing the Lume Cube Air VC, and love the features and functionality it brings. Not only does it make us look better on a video call, it’s great for selfies and for lighting up other photographs.
The Lume Cube Air VC review video above walks you through the features, what’s included in the box and shows how it looks when on a video call with the camera on a MacBook as well as a with and without selfie comparison.
The Lume Cube Air VC is available now from Lume Cube for $79.95.
