Modern Warfare Remastered December Update: What’s New
There is a massive Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered December update coming this month. Here’s an early look at what’s new in Modern Warfare Remastered as we close out the year.
This is a free update to the game that is still only available with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. There are also plenty of Infinite Warfare bonus items as well.
When the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered December update arrives gamers will get a plethora of great items that round out the game.
Modern Warfare Remastered December Update Release Date
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered December update release date is December 13th. That’s early next week and it will complete the remastered portion of the game by adding in new maps, as well as adding new game modes and more.
What’s New Modern Warfare Remastered December Update
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered December update includes six new maps that round out the collection of Modern Warfare maps from the original game. You can see some of these maps in the video above.
- Wet Work
New remastered maps are all free to users who own the new remastered version of the game. That’s not all that you will see in this update. There is also a holiday Winter Crash Map that is coming at the same time. Expect a special 24/7 Winter crash playlist on starting December 20th.
Additionally there are new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered game modes to add to the re-playability of this game. Activision adds in Gun Game and Hardpoint to the remastered Call of Duty game.
Along with these upgrades and new maps we expect a collection of fixes and changes to tune the game as we close out 2016.

We hope that one of them is the now confirmed addition of a HUD element that tells you how many players are still alive on each team in Search and Destroy. This is something that we see in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
