Moto X 2015 Release: 5 Things to Know
Moto X Plus | ||||||

In a surprise turn of events the last two weeks we've been seeing some very interesting developments on the Moto X front. A few new rumors suggest Motorola won't have one phone for 2015, but actually two. Of course Motorola will release a new Moto X, Moto G, Moto E, and some sort of smartphone for Verizon, but a few leaks claim there will be two Moto X smartphones this year. In an effort to take on the two-size approach that Samsung and Apple both are successful with, Motorola could release a regular Moto X 3rd Gen like we detailed earlier, then a second Moto X Plus with a bigger 5.5-inch screen. This could compete with the LG G4, the Galaxy Note 5, and the bigger iPhone 6 Plus. Our bet is this will be called the Moto XL. This bigger 5.5-inch device will have the same 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD display, the same internals, but a better 20 megapixel camera and a larger 3,900 mAh battery similar to the DROID Turbo released in October of 2014. Only time will tell. | ||||||

I am changing my Xperia Z Ultra (July 2013) this September. Seems like Moto XL gets my money!

Defiantly because it will feature a snapdragon 820 SOC with 3 Gb lpddr4 ram and a huge battery with gorilla glass 4 protection. motog3.com revealed that they can also use a QHD screen with improvements in corner finish.
