Motorola Atrix 2 Launches on AT&T, Only $50 at Amazon

Last week, we were able to score some hands-on time with the Motorola Atrix 2 at CTIA 2011 in San Diego. We came away pretty impressed with the device and more specifically, the price point that AT&T was going to be offering it at. That being said, those of you looking to get a solid Android device on the cheap will at least want to take a look at the device which launched today for $99.

AT&T is currently offering it at that price but if you’re a new customer, you can get it for $50 at Amazon. Those of you who are current customers will want to avoid Amazon as it will cost you $199, a price that will surely drop immensely in the next couple of weeks.

As for the Atrix 2 itself, it will come with a 4.3-inch qHD screen with 960×540 resolution, 1 GHz dual-core processor, 4G HSPA+ 21 Mbps (Category 14) connectivity, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, front facing camera, and it’s powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

And here’s an up close look at the Atrix 2.

You can find it at AT&T right here and Amazon right here but if I was you, I’d wait a couple of days to see Google and Samsung launch the Galaxy Nexus before you make any bold moves.
