So that all sounds amazing, if true, but when can we expect it to arrive? That's anyone's guess sadly. However, we have a pretty good idea.

Each new Nexus for the last 2-3 years has arrived with the next version of Android. The Nexus 5 debuted with Android 4.4 KitKat. The Nexus 6 debuted with Android 5.0 Lollipop. And now we're hearing the new Nexus 5 will debut with Android 5.2 M (milkshake) or whatever Google calls Android M.

Google has confirmed Android M will be released before the end of the 3rd Quarter. The 3rd Quarter is July, August, and September. This means it could be here a full 2 months earlier than anyone expected.

If true, the Nexus 5 for 2015 will be announced around the end of September, and possible be released sometime in October. We'll have to wiat and see, as these are only rumors for now.
