Nexus 5 Android 6.0 Problems

While I haven't run into anything of note, some Nexus 5 users are complaining about Android 6.0 Marshmallow problems. And I've seen complaints about Android 6.0 pick up as more users have installed the software on their device.

A quick search on Google's Nexus Help Forum reveals tons of complaints about the Android 6.0 update. Issues range from random reboots to issues with battery to problems with lag to boot loop issues to issues with Contacts. The list goes on.

While there are problems, I haven't seen any reports outline widespread Marshmallow bugs that need an immediate fix. After the Lollipop release last fall, I heard a whole lot about issues plaguing the operating system as a whole. So that's a good sign.

In response to these problems, I've outlined the most important things to know before, and after, you install the Marshmallow update on your phone.

“That’s extremely impressive, especially on a device that’s going on three years old”

Why is it that so many people insist on this BS exaggerated aging of devices? The Nexus 5 was released LESS THAN TWO YEARS AGO.

“That’s extremely impressive, especially on a device that’s going on three years old”

That’s kind of a strange thing to say, being that at the time this was written, the Nexus 5 hadn’t even been out for two years. And I’m not saying that it’s still not impressive, but I’ve been seeing stuff like this more and more in reviews. It’s like even the facts about a subject are disputable now. People just writing whatever they want.
