Google hasn't confirmed a specific Nexus 5 Android 5.1.1 release date and we're not counting on it to put any concrete details on display ahead of the actual release. Instead, you can count on more silence from Google as it works behind the scenes to deliver. 

You can count on a Nexus 5 Android 5.1.1 update coming soon though. Canadian carrier Rogers recently confirmed an Android 5.1.1 update for the Nexus 5. The carrier says that the update is coming soon and there's no reason to believe that it's lying or exagggerating in regard to the timing. 

It may not roll out tomorrow or this week but you can count on it rolling out in the near future. We would not be surprised if Google tried to get most of the remaining updates out before Google I/O so that the focus will be on Android M rather than Android L. We'll see.
