There are 18 quintillion planates in No Man's Sky. This is a huge amount of worlds to explore and it is very likely that you will not see all of them in your time playing the game. 

When you think about paying $59.99 for this game, you're getting a crazy deal on each planet. 

According to the No Man's Sky developer Hello Games, each of these planets is world sized, not simply a little island to play on. That means that you can spend hours or days playing on a map. 

GameSpot did the math and found that the demo planet's surface area is 78.5 square miles. That is almost double the size of Fallout 4's world. In real world terms, this is similar in size to the city of Boston.
