Apple announced a new Apple AirPods wireless charging case that will allow you to toss your AirPods on the AirPower charger and keep them topped up and ready. Apple did not spend much time talking about these, so it's not likely you will see them as AirPods 2. You might not even see the AirPods ship with a wireless charging case by default. According to MacPrime, Apple will release the AirPods wireless charging case in December for $69. That's the same price Apple charges if you need to replace your current case out of warranty. It's not clear if there will be any kind of upgrade program for current AirPod owners. | |||||||||||
