Monitor iOS 13 Beta Feedback

If this will be your first time trying a beta and/or you're using an older device like the iPhone 6s, we recommend waiting a few hours or a few days before installing beta software.

Older devices typically have the most trouble with new software and new operating systems in particular. If you own an older version of the iPhone, be careful with the iOS 13 beta.

You'll also want to approach it with caution if you're having a great experience on an older version of iOS.

When Apple releases the public iOS 13 beta, it might be signing on three updates: iOS 12.3.2, iOS 12.3.1 and iOS 12.3. If that's the case, those are the only updates you'll be able to downgrade to if you want to jump off the iOS 13 beta.

Apple isn't signing on iOS 12.2 or any older versions of iOS which means there's no dropping back to any of those updates.

With that in mind, make sure you're confident moving to iOS 13 beta. Digging through feedback from beta testers will help.

We expect a ton of feedback about bugs and performance on day one so if you're feeling uneasy, make sure you comb through these reports.

If you aren't feeling confident about the move from iOS 12 to iOS 13 beta, you might want to wait for long-term feedback.
