Get Familiar with iOS 13 & Older iOS Updates

Make sure you get familiar with iOS 13 before you download the beta. This way you aren't caught off guard by the changes.

We've put together a guide that takes you through the key differences between iOS 13 and iOS 12. It's worth a look.

We've also outlined the best reasons to install the iOS 13 beta and the best reasons to avoid it.

If you're lingering on an old version of iOS, you'll want to get familiar with the most recent versions of iOS 12 because the changes from the updates you skip will be baked into your version of the beta.

iOS 12.3.2 and iOS 12.3.1 are the current versions of iOS 12. If you haven't already, you'll want to get familiar with all of the changes on board the firmware. You can do that via our iOS 12.3.2 walkthrough and our iOS 12.3.1 walkthrough.

If you're planning to upgrade from iOS 12.2 or an older version of iOS, your first beta update will be much larger.

If you've fallen behind, but don't want to update to a newer version of iOS right now, take a look at our guide to iOS 12.

It'll take you through everything you need to know.
