A Ratchet and Clank PS4 release is confirmed and with just days to go before the start of E3 2015, it looks like fans of the series will get tons of new information about the game and its release. With that in mind, we want to take a look at what you need to know about Ratchet and Clank for PS4 ahead of E3.

With just days to go before the start of E3 2015 in Los Angeles, we’re seeing companies release tons of details about their upcoming announcements. And while most of the attention has been lavished on games like Halo 5, Metal Gear Solid 5 and Fallout 4, there are a number of other games that will make their debut at the show.

One of those games is a new installment in the long-running franchise Ratchet and Clank, a series that’s been around since 2002. Ratchet and Clank, a platformer that follows a Lombax called Ratchet and a robot named Clank, is an still extremely popular franchise thanks to its characters, universe and the gameplay that features an assortment of outrageous weapons.

Suffice to say, fans of the series were extremely excited when Insomniac Games and Sony announced a brand new Ratchet and Clank PS4 release at E3 2014. Well, its been a year since Sony’s press conference in Los Angeles and we’re finally seeing Ratchet and Clank PS4 details start to heat up again as Sony and Insomniac prepare for this year’s E3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

This week, ahead of E3, we’ve seen a number of new details emerge and today we want to prepare fans of the series and casual gamers for E3’s big announcements and the Ratchet and Clank PS4 release date. Here’s what you need to know as we head into E3 2015.

The first thing prospective buyers need to know is that Ratchet and Clank will have a presence at this year's E3. 

We're expecting Sony and Insomniac to offer new details about the game at E3 though the biggest news is that there will be a playable Ratchet and Clank demo on the showroom floor. This is huge for those attending the show and it's also big for those taking it all in from afar because it means that we'll finally get our first in-depth glimpse at this highly anticipated game. 

It's not clear what the demo will entail or if it will be released to the public ahead of the game's release date but you can expect to learn a whole lot about this game once the E3 2015 floor opens next week.
