With something like Galaxy Buds the battery life is always important. And, as we said in our last slide, that's one big area of improvement with the new Buds Plus.
The original Buds had 58 mAh battery cells in each earbud, and this year Samsung increased the battery to 85 mAh. That's a pretty substantial upgrade in the same size headphone. This means they can claim around 11 hours of streaming music usage, which is higher than most, not to mention 22-hours of total battery life. The charging and carry case is also bigger too, with a 270 mAh battery compared to 250 before. Previous models lasted around 6-7 hours in standalone mode and about 4-hours if you're streaming music from a Bluetooth device non-stop. When you combine a bigger battery, software and hardware improvements and Bluetooth 5.0 all into one, and these should last far longer than previous models. You'll want to buy the Galaxy Buds+ because they'll have great battery life for wireless earbuds. Potentially some of the best.

They better fix the call quality. the current buds suck in that one area. Love everything else about them. But if people on the other end can’t hear you, half the functionality is gone. It’s like headphones without a mic.

These new ones have three microphones and two speakers inside, so they’ll be WAY better.
