Wait For the Most Powerful Folding Phone

If you're one of those people that loves the cutting edge of technology, you'll want to wait for the Galaxy Z Flip.

Furthermore, other foldable phones available now or coming soon all have mediocre specs and aren't "high-end" phones. A prime example is the Moto Razr. Motorola is using an old budget-friendly processor and internal specs of a $300 budget smartphone. They simply made a cheap phone and added a unique folding display on top. It's not very fast or powerful. 

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a premium flagship smartphone with top-of-the-line specs. 

Samsung is using the powerful 8-core Snapdragon 855+ processor from late 2019 along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It's a fast and powerful phone with plenty of storage. You're also getting dual 12MP cameras and a nice 10MP front-facing camera inside the screen. 

One potential downside is the 3,300 mAh battery inside, which is a lot smaller than the 4,500 mAh battery in the similarly sized Galaxy S20+. That said, this phone will be closed most of the time so the big screen won't be draining the battery. You'll be able to easily interact with that small 1-inch screen to check the time, date, or notifications. 

Basically, if you want a folding phone but don't want to pay top-dollar for an average experience, wait for the powerful Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
