Wait for the MacBook with Custom Apple Processor

Apple is switching the MacBook lineup over to custom processors, similar to what the company uses on the iPad. This could deliver longer battery life and notable performance gains. 

The new processors will arrive in Apple computers this year according to Apple's plans. Bloomberg says we should see an announcement in November. 

Potentially this means the new MacBook with an Apple processor will go on sale in December.
