Apple doubled the storage on the base MacBook Air for 2020. This is a much-needed move and it is a tangible benefit if you've been holding off on buying a new model.
For the $999 model, you get 256GB of storage, which is enough for many users. You will still likely need to use cloud storage for your photos and for other big files, but 256GB is a good starting point. If you need more storage, you can choose up to 2TB of storage when you configure your MacBook Air. You can't upgrade the storage later, but you can buy external drives. |
