Don't Expect to Know Everything New Ahead of Time

Don't count on Treyarch telling you everything new in the September Black Ops 3 update until after it hits your PS4, Xbox One or PC. Occasionally Treyarch will tease a major change or new feature well ahead of time, but this is not something that happens with each update. Normally any teasers come on Twitter from David Vonderhaar, who will share a fix that the team is working on or tease a potential change to a specific game mode. Typically updates roll out around 1 PM Eastern, 10 AM Pacific and then the patch notes are shared on the Call of Duty Support website in the next few hours. Sometimes this happens within 15 to 20 minutes, and other times we don't know for hours. When the updates arrive you will find the Black Ops 3 patch notes for PS4, Xbox One and PC using these links. The odds are good that the Black Ops 3 updates in September will include most of the same fixes across Xbox One, PS4 and PC, but there is a chance that some differences will exist between the devices. Most often the PC Black Ops 3 update will include some additional fixes for PC issues, but we typically see the same game changes to weapons and gameplay.
