While a 5.8-inch display isn't exactly a small screen smartphone, it is the smallest Galaxy S10 display you can buy. Samsung bumped up the Galaxy S10 to 6.1 inches and the S10+ to 6.4-inches. 

That's inching into Galaxy Note territory for the larger Galaxy S10 devices. If you want a new Samsung Galaxy phone with good specs and long term software support, you are better off buying the Galaxy S10e over the Galaxy S9 at this point.

This is also a normal screen that doesn't curve around the edges like the S9 and the S10 or S10+. This smaller screen without curved edges may be exactly what you are looking for.
