Check Server Status
Battlefront is meant to be played with other people. If you want to go beyond the limited single player and co-op content, you're going to need to connect your console or PC to the internet.
Most of the time, you'll be able to connect to servers without any trouble. But every once in awhile, there might be trouble. And you'll want to make sure that you know about those problems before you log on and waste time precious time.
Before you leave work or when you get some free time, hop on and check to see if servers are healthy. Down Detector is one place to look. EA's Origin Server status is another. Microsoft's Xbox Live Server Status and Sony's PSN Status pages are two other places to look.
We also recommend taking a peek on social media sites like Twitter to see if there are any widespread complaints. Most days, there won't be. But a simple check on social media or one of these sites could save you some time.
