Surface Pro Has a Kickstand Without a Case

You need a clever folding cover or a case to hold the iPad Pro up. The Surface Pro has a kickstand of its own, and there’s very little it doesn’t do.

Slots on the left and right edge of the Surface Pro let you quickly deploy the kickstand. To get the best angle, use your finger to push backward on the screen. The hinge folds so far back that you can comfortably sketch and take notes on the Surface Pro as if it’s a small desktop easel with a sheet of paper on it.

You need a Smart Cover or case to hold the 12.9-inch iPad Pro upright. A Smart Cover costs $59.99 at Apple.com.
