The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is far less ancient than the Galaxy S3 and won't soon be replaced by the Galaxy Note 3, rumored for later this year.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 phablet combines a massive 5.5-inch display with a fast quad-core processor, 8MP camera, and some unique software that takes advantage of its S-Pen stylus.

It also runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 4G LTE service across all five major U.S. carriers, and maybe best of all, it has been getting cheaper on-contract by the week.
