The Droid DNA was one of Verizon's last releases of the year and it was also one of its best. The Droid DNA, made by HTC, is a bit smaller than the Galaxy Note 2, checking in with a 5-inch display, but that 5-inch display also features full HD 1080p resolution, the first smartphone in the United States to offer that kind of on-screen detail.
It also helps that the device is contract-proof as it offers a quad-core processor, solid rear and front-facing cameras, a sleek and thin design, good battery life and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to boot.
Oh, and it's only $149.99 through Amazon.
