These days more and more phones are coming with dual stereo sound. And while LG didn't follow that trend, they took their own unique approach to smartphone sound.
LG is calling it the "boombox speaker" and that's because it's loud enough to fill a room with sound, just like a typical boombox. The internal parts around the speaker were completely removed, then redesigned to use the entire phone as a resonance chamber. Basically, it's like a sub box for your subwoofer. As a result, they're promising industry-leading bass, sound nearly twice as loud as the competition, and DTS technology that creates a sound bubble for optimal audio experiences. |
