Instantly Recognize & Save Music

Last year Google's Pixel 2 had "Now Playing" a feature that replaced apps like Shazam or Soundhound.

Now Playing would instantly recognize songs and music playing, without or before you ask, and display the name and title at the bottom of the always-on display.

This all happens offline too, so the phone isn't listening to you or sending information back to Google. Then, when music plays you'll get a small notification instantly. Tap this for lyrics, information, links to buy the music or even watch the music video on YouTube. And this year, you can save the entire list from Now Playing and refer back to it later for a specific song.

Head to Settings > Sounds > Now Playing and turn it on to enjoy some tunes.
