Galaxy S6 Android 5.1.1 Update Making Progress

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge Android 5.1.1 updates were the first Android 5.1.1 updates from Samsung and unsurprisingly, they've made the most progress since June.

We've seen several U.S. carriers push out Galaxy S6 Android 5.1.1 updates and we're starting to see things pick up for different international carriers and different versions of the Galaxy S6.

Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge users in the Netherlands are now seeing the update for the unbranded versions of the two phones. That's a big market and it's sign that the Android 5.1.1 roll out is still very healthy in Europe.

It's also worth noting that the updates appear to mirror the other Android 5.1.1 updates that have hit the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The updates include bug fixes but also changes to the company's camera application.

The Galaxy S6 Android 5.1.1 update has also spread to a new device. According to SamMobile, the Galaxy S6 Duos Android 5.1.1 update is now hitting users in Dubai. This device is limited to a few regions and it's not available in the United States.

That said, it's another sign that the updates are making progress and should continue making progress in July.

10 pages of crap and speculation. The title of the article says it will tell you about the update, not theories on when or if you will get it.
