It's important to know that AT&T and Verizon have yet to confirm Android 5.1.1 updates for the Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge despite the fact that their three main rivals have already pushed out updates to their models.
At this point, it's a guessing game. We've seen a number of people reach out to the carrier via social media but it's important to know that they probably won't confirm much of anything there. It's very likely that we won't hear anything concrete until the day these updates roll out. We're pretty confident that AT&T and Verizon will join their rivals but it could be days, weeks or even months before that happens. It's also possible that they decide to go with a direct jump from the current version of Lollipop to Android M. Remain patient and stay optimistic. |

10 pages of crap and speculation. The title of the article says it will tell you about the update, not theories on when or if you will get it.
