Look Into the iPadOS 14 Jailbreak
If you're currently jailbroken or if you want to jailbreak a device at some point, avoid iPadOS 14 for now.
There's a working iPadOS 13 jailbreak for iPadOS 13.5 and below, but iPadOS 13.5.1 plugged up the exploit used by the jailbreak. It doesn't work with newer versions of iPadOS 13.
We haven't heard anything about a iPadOS 14 jailbreak release and it could be weeks before we get something for public consumption.
If you want to stay jailbroken you'll want to stay put on iPadOS 13.5 or an older version of iPadOS. And if you're thinking about jailbreaking, you'll want to weigh the pros and cons before you take the plunge.
