The Automatron DLC requires you to download the game files to your internal or external hard drive. For some of you this isn't a problem, for others it might be.

If you want to play Automatron right now, you'll need a bit of free space to make that happen. Especially if you haven't downloaded the Fallout 4 1.4 patch yet. 

The size of Automatron depends on your region and console. The DLC is a 1.2GB file for Xbox One in the United States and it's about 1.7GB for the PlayStation 4 in Europe. Here's how the size of the DLC ranges on all three platforms:

- PC: 1.1GB – 1.6GB.

- Xbox One: 1.1GB – 1.5GB.

- PlayStation 4: 1.2GB - 1.7GB.

If you need to clear up some space, or plug an ethernet cable into your system, now would be a great time to do so.
