10 Things to Know About the Nexus 5 Android 6.0.1 Update

Android 6.0.1 Fixes Some Annoying Bugs

Android 6.0.1 Fixes Some Annoying Bugs

The Nexus 5 Android 6.0.1 update comes with some changes that go beyond the 200 emoji, the camera improvements and the new problems.

Android 6.0.1 fixes some of Android 6.0's most annoying issues including a failed MMS problem that plagued many Nexus 5 users, a slow clock time bug that appeared in Android 6.0 Marshmallow, lag with the share/copy toolbar, and an irritating issue with the share menu.

These are a few of Marshmallow's most annoying problems and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow wiped them out, hopefully for good. Something to think about if you're on the fence about installing Android 6.0.1.

Update to 6.01 came through this morning (12/15/2015) for my Nexus 6 in the Birmingham, AL area. I have been told that geographic location makes a difference as to when you get an update. Have no idea if that is true or not but figured I’d mention where I’m at.

This is the worst excuse for a website. The focus is ads and not any useful information.

Download and install AdBlock extension for Chrome. I don’t see a single Add on this website.

I received the 6.0.1 Upgrade 4 days ago on my Nexus 5, 16GB, on the T-Mobile network. The Camera has crashed 4 times & I had to reboot every time to get it to work again. Other Apps lock up and I have to go to Settings, Apps, and Force Stop, then restart to get them to work again. Very Frustrating!

I live in Ky and have a Nexus 5 and T-mobile. Was it an OTA update or did you do it yourself?

Got update for my nexus 5 about 10 days back.
Not a good experience. My phone is getting restarted continuously. Moreover, facing issues with the power button. On just a short single click, the PowerOff option shows up.
