15 New Madden 16 Features
On Field Highlights & Presentation
In the new Madden 16 game you’ll see a player card flash on-screen to show you who made a big play and then a small pop-up bubble to highlight the action. This adds to the presentation, but isn’t a major gameplay addition.
The EA Sports team working on Madden 16 is in the second year of a coordination with a presentation director from NFL films. This includes a new batch of camera angles and presentation after a big play that mirrors what you might see during a big moment of a real football game.
Count on better presentation in Madden 16.
Tougher to Defend Smart Receivers
When you are playing defense you’ll notice that the receivers are now smarter. If the receiver knows that a defender is right behind them, they will choose a possession catch to make sure that they get the ball and some yards instead of trying for a default type of catch like in Madden 15.
With this new feature defenders will need to be aware of how the AI controlled receivers will respond to coverage.
Play the Ball on Defense
In Madden 15 you can swat, go for the interception or prepare to tackle a receiver. In Madden 16 you will now see more options that allow you to use the Ball Hawk option to go for the ball instead of the player.
This works best in situations where you have double coverage and can lead to impressive and exciting turnover opportunities on the initial attempt or even on a deflection. You can also use a similar option to attempt to knock the ball out of the receiver’s hand.

Why are there no Armsleeves again? This is so simple to put in the game. Mouth pieces should be in as well. Madden fail again. So annoying

Why are people worried about numbes …. the problem is that the defense angles are bad at the point of tackle. They square off and runner run past them and slows the other players down

Need to fix the easy dropped ints. Mouth pieces not going to make game better. Helping defense tackle better. Keep the angle and make tackle with the A I

No one cares about 3 stars. If you dont know a team just look at the roster in the pause menu. Where is the focus on gameplay? There is nothing better than a ranked match, but when you get beat 10 games in a row because multiple users run 2 plays on offense and 1 on defense that are untoppable it kills me. Ok, I get it… maybe i can switch my play call up. Now what? Clay Mathews gets run over by none other than Big Jay Cutler. Big Jay just earned himself player of the game after capping off a 2 play drive with a 60 yard TD run. Yes im exaggerating about this particular scenario, but it’s just as well. My point is, you cant stop “money plays” but if you do happen to stop what is unreal to begin with a low profile player will break 5 tackles and waltz into the endzone. As far as game modes go, just bring back team play. Whoever made the call to take it out obviously doesnt play his produt. Im certain a big majority of the madden community would agree with me on team play. Just bring it back.
