It Has a Fantastic Camera
We've been using the iPhone 6 since September. And in that time, we've also been using various other smartphone cameras including the Galaxy S6's, Galaxy Note 4's, LG G4's, and others. There are obviously tons of variables here but we, like many others, think that the iPhone 6's rear camera is fantastic.
While Apple won't be able to install a new camera sensor in the iPhone 6, it will continue to improve the iOS camera application. iOS 9 will deliver new folders for selfies (photos taken with the FaceTime Camera) and screenshots to help you keep your shots organized.
There are several new video recording options that allow you to toggle resolution and you can now turn the iPhone 6's flash on or off while filming a video. The latter used to only be available to iOS jailbreak users. Now it's available to everyone.
Apple will continue to build on the camera apps foundation in future iOS updates. And that should help to keep the iPhone 6 camera relevant for the foreseeable future.
